The East Goshen Democrats hosted a petition party at Hershey’s Mill on Saturday, February 3. Turnout was high, enthusiasm was strong, and our eight endorsed candidates for Federal and State public office, plus seven delegates to the Democratic National Convention, all came away with lots of signatures to help assure their places on the primary election ballot. … Speaking of which, don’t forget to vote on April 23, or apply early for your mail ballot.
U.S. Representative Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA6) posed with some of the volunteers who helped organize the event, while holding a certificate from the Network Lobby, an organization of Catholic nuns, commending her 100% voting record on social justice issues. East Goshen Dems turned out in force last night to witness the swearing-in ceremony for Barbara Emery. Here, Barbara is sworn in by Township Manager Derek Davis while her husband Keith holds her 200-year-old family Bible. To honor the diversity of religious beliefs among local residents, Barbara also brought a Torah, Koran, Buddhist and Hindu prayer books, and a Native American leadership prayer to the ceremony. Congratulations, Barbara!

We invite all East Goshen Dems to join us, as Barbara takes over from David Shuey as the only Democrat on the Board.
