It's a Democratic Sweep in East Goshen!

This year’s election was a historic Democratic victory in East Goshen Township! As we await the counting of the remaining provisional ballots and certification of the results, we feel confident that the Democratic sweep will hold up:

  • Ann Duffield and Larry Massaro will join the Township Board of Supervisors, ousting the Republican incumbents with a 55%-45% overall margin, and outpolling them in 7 of our 9 precincts. Together with Democratic incumbent Barbara Emery, they’ll form the first Democratic-majority Board in history!

  • Democratic candidates prevailed in every contested election for Judges and Inspectors of Elections

  • Democratic candidates attained strong majorities in all the races for County offices on the ballot

  • Democratic candidates for local and state judicial offices also won our Township by wide margins, and East Goshen voters delivered an overwhelming Yes! vote to retain our state judges and Supreme Court justices.

Ultimately, it’s the citizens of East Goshen Township who are the winners in this election. We the people have spoken, and we’ve made a strong statement for responsible, smart, and thoughtful government that works hard to make our community a better place for us all.
